This is a detail set of seat belts for the cockpit, not an airplane model. It replaces flat plastic or decal belts with faithful parts of real microtextile completed by photo-etched fittings and buckles. It is intended for large scale models of the late version of the Spitfire in 1:32 scale.
Seat belts are clearly visible in an open cockpit in a large scale and flat plastic or a mere decal reads as unconvincing. HGW fabric seat belts have the real structure of woven cloth, they can be bent and drape naturally over the seat and the edges of the cockpit. Photo-etched metal buckles add fine detail; the fabric stands up to ordinary, non-aggressive modeling products.
Choose the shade of the belt and cut the parts out along the marked line with a sharp knife, then shorten them to the length needed. Bend the fabric briefly between your fingers so that it takes on natural folds, and pull it through the photo-etched buckles. Glue with PVA glue (white glue) – do not use cyanoacrylate or any other aggressive glue, which could damage the fabric or the plastic.
This is not a complete model. The set does not hold glue, paints or the kit; it serves as a complement to a base model.
