The photo-etched set Eduard 1:32 TF-104G electronic equipment completes the electronic equipment of the two-seat trainer Starfighter. It brings panels and mountings that injection-molded plastic cannot manage in this scale.

This is a photo-etched accessory set, not an aircraft kit. It is intended for a model of the two-seat trainer version TF-104G in 1:32 scale and it concentrates on the electronic equipment of the aircraft, that is on panels, boxes and their mountings. Thin etched metal can capture faithfully the surfaces and edges that cannot be produced in injection-molded plastic, because they would be unacceptably thick.
The large 1:32 scale is merciless to the modeler. The bigger the model, the more it shows that plastic parts are several scale centimeters thick. Etched metal a few tenths of a millimeter thick solves that problem and brings the shape closer to the real equipment. The set is useful above all where a model is built with the covers open and the inside is visible.
Cut the parts off the fret with a scalpel on a hard surface and sand the remains of the tab flat with a fine file. Make the bends in a bending tool or over the edge of a metal rule, and on thin parts the scored line already marked on the etch helps. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); on larger surfaces the gel version is safer, because it gives time to line things up. Degrease the metal before painting and use a good primer, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. Bring the details out with a dark wash and the dry brush.
This is an accessory set, not an aircraft model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
