A Snap Kit (assembly without glue) of the Toyota 86 in 1:32 scale from Aoshima of Japan, in a deep red. Unlike a conventional kit there is no gluing, no filling and no spraying: the body and the other parts are molded directly in color and you simply snap the model together. In a single evening you have a glossy red coupe in the display case that looks as if it had been painted.
The Toyota 86 is the modern successor to the famous light Toyota sports cars: a two-door coupe with a low-mounted flat-four engine, rear-wheel drive and a balanced chassis, developed together with Subaru. Red was the color it appeared in on most of the official photographs, so for many fans Pure Red is the true face of this car.
Against a conventional glued kit the Snap Kit is a faster and cleaner route to a result, and it still remains a real model rather than a toy to play with. The finished coupe stands out in a small display case or on a shelf next to the other color versions of this range; a collection of different shades of the Toyota 86 side by side looks superb. If you want to add realism, a thin black line to pick out the hood and door gaps is all it takes.
The model is supplied unassembled; the parts are molded in color and the build needs no glue or paints. Accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
