1:32 Toyota Hilux SURF SSR-G (Mini 4WD) is a motorized Tamiya kit based on the off-road Hilux Surf. It goes together without glue and sets off on two AA cells.

A motorized kit from the Japanese Mini 4WD series, which Tamiya lists as number 17. The manufacturer gives a length of 154 mm, which makes it one of the larger models in the series. The motor is part of the package, no glue is needed for the build and the markings are done with stickers. The drive goes to the front and rear axles.
The Hilux Surf is the off-road version of the Hilux pickup with an enclosed rear end, which Toyota sold on other markets as the 4Runner. The manufacturer ties the model to the configuration after the 1995 model update: a more rounded body, wider fenders and a sturdy grille. SSR-G is the designation of a trim level, and cars of this generation keep a good name to this day as reliable machines for rough ground.
The colored plastic stands up to a build without paint; when painting, spray thin coats so that the snap-fit joints keep holding. Protect the window parts with masking tape and do not put cyanoacrylate glue on them. Apply the stickers to a degreased dry surface. Leave the gear train and the shafts without paint and without any solvent-based lubricant.
The model is supplied unassembled; the plastic parts are colored but not painted. The motor is part of the package and no glue is needed for the build, while two AA cells and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
