Aerobonus 1:32 United Tractor G40C tow tractor (LPG) is a resin kit of an airfield tow tractor in the version running on liquefied gas. It builds up on its own and also as an accessory to an airfield scene.

A small kit of cast resin in 1:32 scale from the Aerobonus brand, which is made by the Czech company Aires. The subject is the United Tractor G40C airfield tow tractor in the version powered by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), that is, with the characteristic pressure cylinder on the frame. It is a resin kit for more experienced modelers: the parts are cleaned, sanded and glued with cyanoacrylate glue, it is not injection-molded plastic.
Tow tractors of this type serve at airfields to move aircraft, baggage carts and technical equipment between the ramp, the hangar and the apron. A low build, a sturdy frame, a towing hitch and an open driver's position are typical of this category of machinery. The liquefied gas version is used where cleaner operation and a quick change of cylinder are an advantage. Tow tractors of this appearance were an ordinary part of the ground equipment at civil and military airfields alike.
Wash the parts in warm water with detergent so that the mold release agent disappears; otherwise the paint peels off. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and never break them; sand wet and with your airways protected. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy, as modeling cement for plastic does not dissolve resin. Before painting, spray on a primer. Airfield machinery tends to be markedly worn: rubbed edges, greasy traces around the engine, dust and fine scratches done with a dark wash and a dry brush all pay off. Warning stripes and lettering can be indicated by masking or with a fine brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
