The Benz Bz.III engine (150 hp) for the W.29 – a photo-etched detail set in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker HGW. Brass photo-etch for a faithful rendering of the inline engine of the German naval aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of brass photo-etched parts for detailing the Benz Bz.III engine of around 150 horsepower on the plastic kit of the German naval aircraft Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 in 1:32 scale. It is not an engine model to build but an accessory for a faithful rendering of the power unit of the matching kit.
The Benz Bz.III was a German inline six-cylinder liquid-cooled aircraft engine used in a range of First World War aircraft including the naval W.29. A water-cooled inline engine with its valve gear and exhaust run openly is a rewarding element for detailers.
The photo-etched parts complete and refine the elements of the engine – the valve gear, the fittings, the pipes and other fine details that injection molded plastic cannot render faithfully. Separate the parts from the fret, bend them over a sharp edge and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the surface before painting and apply a base for metal.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
