The real subject

The units known collectively as the 1st Army of the Polish Forces were formed on the Eastern Front and used Soviet armor. Assembly and painting tips

Wash the casting in warm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection; it is glued with cyanoacrylate glue. If you are placing the figure in a hatch, try it dry before the vehicle is varnished, as a support often has to be reworked or the lower part of the body shortened. The overalls are a simple area in color terms, so the result rests on the shading: a base tone, a wash in the folds, highlights on the raised areas and finally a fine dust where the figure leans against the vehicle. The hands and the head will take a higher level of detail, because they are always in view.
