An Aber set of metal barrels for the 25 mm M242 Bushmaster gun and the M240 machine gun in 1:35 scale, meant for models of the Bradley and LAV-25 combat vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely turned metal barrels from Aber in 1:35 scale. It contains the barrel of the 25 mm M242 Bushmaster automatic gun in its early form and the barrel of the coaxial 7.62 mm M240 machine gun. These are add-on parts for a finished kit, not a model.
The 25 mm M242 Bushmaster chain gun is the main armament of the American Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and of the wheeled LAV-25; it is supplemented by a coaxial 7.62 mm M240 machine gun. The early form of the gun has a characteristic profile that turned metal parts capture more crisply than plastic.
Replace the plastic barrels on the model with the metal ones and glue them with super glue. Protect the thin machine gun barrel from bending while handling it. Degrease the metal before painting and cover it with a primer for metal.
This is a metal add-on set, not the model itself. A matching kit, which is not included in the package, is needed for the build.
