A plastic kit of a Soviet flamethrower tank based on the T-34 with a 76 mm gun, in 1:35 scale. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit captures a Soviet flamethrower tank of the Second World War that was based on the T-34 medium tank with a 76 mm gun. 1:35 scale is the most widespread one for models of military vehicles, so the finished tank will stand alongside other vehicles and figures and goes straight into a diorama.
The T-34 is the best-known Soviet medium tank of the Second World War, recognizable by its sloped frontal armor, wide tracks and rear diesel engine. The flamethrower version kept the gun in the turret, so from the outside it looked like an ordinary tank, but in place of the machine gun in the front of the hull it carried a flamethrower. The crew could therefore attack fortified positions without losing the main armament.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and you will need cement for polystyrene, paints and a primer. Work from the hull and the running gear, and fit the tracks according to the instructions before you close the fenders. Painting vehicles takes more work than aircraft: after the base shade comes a dark emphasis in the joints, then rubbed-back edges and finally dust and mud graded from the bottom upwards. The extent of the parts and the recommended shades are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
