The sheet brings advertising posters ready to be cut out and glued into a diorama in 1:35 scale, that is in the most widespread size of military scenes and figures. It is not a kit and not a decal — the motifs are printed on paper and are worked on like miniature print.
The most convincing poster is one that does not sit flat on a wall only. Glued around the corner of a house, over the edge of a crate or around a post, it immediately gains volume and stops coming across as a sticker. Before bending, it pays to dampen the paper with a moist brush and press it down with a wooden skewer, so that the printing does not break at the bend. Mild waving of the area works just as well: apply the glue unevenly and let the poster settle so that a fine bubble appears beneath it, of the kind a real poster pasted up in haste has.
Cut the motif out with a new edge along a rule, go over the edges with a dark paint, apply a thin layer of PVA glue to the undercoat and to the reverse and seat the poster. Once dry, a fine patina matching the rest of the scene comes next and finally matte clear coat, which unifies the sheen. Before clear coating, try the procedure on an offcut of the sheet.
The sheet is supplied as a printed accessory. Glue, paints, clear coats and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
