The subject is a modern tank crewman of the Middle Eastern armies in one-piece coveralls, with a soft padded tank crew helmet and an AK-47 assault rifle as a personal weapon. The casting is finely worked, with folds of cloth and indicated equipment.
A crew gives a model scale as well as a story. A figure leaning out of a hatch, sitting on the hull or standing beside the vehicle immediately reveals how big the machine is and connects the equipment with the scene.
