An Eduard detail set from the LööK range for the Soviet Polikarpov I-16 Type 24 fighter in 1:48 scale. It combines a color instrument panel cast in resin, which replaces the plastic part from the kit, with pre-printed steel seat belts. The panel has realistic dials under imitation glass and the belts are printed in color, so they raise the standard of the cockpit considerably without laborious hand painting.
Once you have cleaned the remains of the casting block off the resin panel, glue it in place of the plastic part, ideally with cyanoacrylate glue. The steel belts shape easily and are glued into the seat. The set is designed as a direct replacement for the original parts and needs no major modification.
Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
