A detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale bringing a faithful weapon, the American Browning M1919 machine gun of 7.62 mm. It combines fine photo-etched parts and, where needed, turned pieces, so that the weapon has the right shape and the perforation of the barrel jacket. It is not a vehicle model but a weapon accessory for vehicles, dioramas and figures.
The Browning M1919 was an air-cooled light to medium machine gun of 7.62 mm, widely used by the US Army during the Second World War and long afterwards. It was mounted on tanks, armored personnel carriers, jeeps and infantry mounts.
Separate the small photo-etched parts with a knife, make the bends along the grooves and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The weapon looks best with shaded metal and with the edges gently picked out by drybrushing. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer.
