This resin set represents the MEXAS add-on modular armor together with a thermal cover for the Canadian tank in 1:35 scale. The accessory is intended for more advanced modelers and turns a standard vehicle into a modern, combat-equipped machine from recent missions.
The C2 is the modernized Canadian version of the main battle tank, to which MEXAS add-on modular composite armor was fitted on overseas missions to improve crew protection. Thermal covers and camouflage tarpaulins reduced the thermal signature and protected the vehicle in demanding climatic conditions.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. Bond both the armor and the cover with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The broken-up surfaces come out well once painted with an airbrush, brought up with a wash and finished with dust pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
