Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:35 scale holds the side skirts over the running gear for a model of the British Centurion Mk. III medium tank. It is not a kit on its own but a set of fine photo-etched parts that replace the thick-walled plastic skirts with faithfully thin photo-etched ones. Eduard is a Czech maker and a leading brand of photo-etched accessories.
The Centurion was a British medium, and later main battle, tank of the period after the Second World War, regarded as one of the most successful post-war tanks. The Mk. III version carried a 20-pounder gun and was committed, among other places, in the Korean War. The side skirts over the running gear protected the upper part of the tracks and the wheels.
Separate the photo-etched skirts with a sharp knife, make the bends in a bending tool and bond them with super glue or epoxy. Thin photo-etched parts read more faithfully than thick plastic skirts. Degrease the parts before painting and apply a primer; damage and sagging in the skirts can be rendered realistically.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a complete model. It requires the matching plastic kit; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
