Coronavirus posters 1:35 is a printed paper sheet for a diorama from ETA diorama — posters for present-day scenes. It is not a kit or a waterslide decal.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet is a paper accessory intended for scenes in 1:35 scale. It holds printed posters that are stuck up in a scene on a wall, on a door, in a shop window or on a notice board. It is not a kit, a photo-etched set or a waterslide decal — the motifs are cut out of the sheet with a knife and glued dry onto a finished surface. The theme is present-day information posters; the sheet serves purely to make a scene from the last few years look convincing and dated.
A paper poster has two advantages over a decal. The first is visible thickness: on a wall it really does look like a sheet stuck up, not like printing. The second is the option of leaving a corner lifted or peeled, which a decal cannot do. Paper, on the other hand, does not follow the texture of the undercoat, so glue it to rough render only where the poster really is meant to sit flat; on the glass of a shop window, on a sheet metal door or on the smooth board of a notice board it sits without any trouble.
Trim the motif with a sharp knife along a metal rule, so that the edge is straight and does not fluff up. It is glued with a thin layer of PVA glue applied to the undercoat, not to the paper — the paper would buckle from the moisture. On the glass of a shop window matte glue is cleaner. Before you stick the poster up, you can thin the paper by sanding the back gently and blacken the edges with a fine marker, so that they do not stand out white in the scene. A light matte clear coat from a spray applied from a distance will level the sheen of the print, so that the colors do not run.
It is a printed paper accessory for a diorama. Glue, paints, figures and the base of a scene are not included in the package.
