1:35 HAD models decals, German turret numbers, Second World War, part 2 is a decal sheet with tactical digits for models of armored equipment in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second part of a series of decal sheets with tactical numbers for models of German armored equipment of the Second World War period in 1:35 scale. It is neither a kit nor a part of a model, but an accessory for finishing one. It is made by the Hungarian brand HAD models; the decals are wet, waterslide, printed on a clear carrier film.
A number on the turret was a practical mark of identification: its digits gave the company, the platoon and the vehicle's place within the platoon. The style differed between units and between periods in shape, size and coloring, which is why the manufacturer offers a series of sheets and the modeler picks the one that matches the variant being built.
Spray the turret surface with gloss clear coat so that no air is left under the film. Cut the digit out close to the edge and soak it in lukewarm water. Once it releases from the backing, transfer it to the dampened area and nudge it with a brush. Build numbers of several digits one digit at a time and keep checking the spacing from a distance, as any irregularity shows at once on a turret. On engraving, seams and rivets use a decal softener and let it dry untouched. Once dry, go over the model with a matte varnish, which hides the edges of the carrier film, and if you like draw a fine wash over the number so that it settles into the surface of the paint.
A decal sheet is an accessory for a model. The model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
