Eduard 1:35 Defender XD Wolf W.M.I.K. Ammo Boxes is a photo-etched set of ammunition boxes for a model of the British Land Rover Defender XD Wolf in the WMIK version in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched brass set adds ammunition boxes and related small elements to a model of the British Land Rover Defender XD Wolf off-road vehicle in the WMIK version in 1:35 scale. The thin etched sheets faithfully replace the simplified plastic parts and bring the weapons platform of the vehicle to life.
The Land Rover Defender XD Wolf is the reinforced military version of the well-known British Army off-road vehicle. The WMIK (Weapons Mount Installation Kit) configuration is a lightened armed conversion with a tubular frame and mounts for a machine gun and other weapons; it was widely used in recent overseas operations. Ammunition boxes are part of the typical fit of vehicles armed in this way.
Bend the parts of the boxes into a three-dimensional shape on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the boxes separately and place them around the platform of the vehicle for a lively combat look. A wash and pigments bring out the edges and the texture of the sheet metal.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
