An update set from the Hungarian maker SBS Model for the ambulance version of the Ford Model T in 1:35 scale. It replaces and adds to selected parts of the basic kit with more finely made resin components, and so it takes the level of detail further in the visible places on the model - exactly where a viewer looks first.
The Ford Model T, the most widespread car of its time, also served during the First World War as a light field ambulance. Hundreds of vehicles were operated by volunteer ambulance corps on the Western Front, where the light, simple and easily repaired car proved itself on broken roads between dressing stations and field hospitals. The ambulance version is one of the best known forms of the Ford T on the Western Front.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), place small parts with tweezers and check the fit dry. Protect your airways while sanding resin; prime the parts before painting.
