A detail set combining resin and photo-etched parts for Ford Model T models in 1:35 scale. It is not a car kit but an accessory that refines and completes selected areas of the basic plastic kit. It adds fine elements of the kind injection-molded plastic manages only with difficulty.
The Ford Model T was one of the first mass-produced cars and fundamentally changed how available personal transport was. During and after the First World War it also served in army roles as a staff car or an ambulance, which makes it a rewarding subject for a diorama as well as a model on its own.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up with your airways protected; glue them with cyanoacrylate. Bend the photo-etched parts on a bending tool or against a ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate as well. Apply a primer before painting.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The basic kit and paints are not included in the package.
