This is not a vehicle model. It is a combined package of photo-etched parts from the BIG ED range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard. The principle of the range is simple: several separately sold photo-etched sets for the same model are packed together and offered as one item. The modeler thus gets complete equipment for one build in a single purchase. What this package holds is given in the list on the box.
The Sd.Kfz.166 Sturmpanzer IV, commonly known by the nickname Brummbär, was a German assault gun of the Second World War built on the chassis of the Panzer IV medium tank. The original turret was replaced by a fixed armored superstructure housing a short 15 cm howitzer. The purpose of the machine was to engage fortified targets and built-up areas by direct fire at short range. The vehicle was produced in several production batches that differ from one another in the shape and slope of the front wall of the superstructure, in the layout of the driver's vision position and in the arrangement of the hatches. This set is tied to the early production form.
The photo-etched parts are thin brass sheet. Cut them from the fret with a scalpel against a hard surface, not with pliers, which bend the sheet. Make the bends in a bending tool or between two steel rules, always along the embossed score line. It is advisable to degrease the sheet before gluing; it is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and on larger areas the gel type helps by giving time to settle it. Brass needs a primer, otherwise the paint flakes off during handling. Glue and paint the side plates, fenders and grilles before you close up the hull. It makes sense to finish and weather the running gear before the side armor plates go on, because afterwards you cannot reach it.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
