It is a detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle; it replaces the wheels from the plastic kit. The tires have a realistically cast bulge where they meet the road. This is variant 2, with a different tread pattern from set 1; they are separate products. The castings are shaped for the Takom and Revell kits.
The Spähpanzer Luchs was a German eight-wheeled (8x8) amphibious reconnaissance armored personnel carrier of the Bundeswehr introduced in the 1970s. It was marked by low noise levels, a long range and steering on all axles. Faithful wheels with a tread pattern underline the character of this large vehicle.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate; sand with your airways protected. Paint the tires in matte dark gray, pick the tread out with a dry brush and complete the dust and dried mud with pigments.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
