A 20-ton long jack for the Ferdinand in 1:35 scale is a detail accessory from AMMO of Mig Jimenez for heavy tank destroyers. It is a separate part, not a kit of the vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
This 1:35 accessory depicts an extended mechanical jack of the highest capacity class in the version matching the Ferdinand heavy tank destroyer. It is not a kit — it is a single piece of carried tool stowage, added to a finished vehicle or used in a scene.
Tools do not have to stay bolted to the hull. On heavy vehicles, changing a road wheel or a track link was ordinary field work, and the jack played the main part in it. Laid on a wooden block under the side of the hull, propped against a wheel or simply lying beside the vehicle among the tools, it gives a scene action without your having to add a single figure. For an arrangement like that, a separate casting suits better than a part molded onto the hull.
If you place the jack on the ground, make sure it sits on the whole area of its foot — a gap under the part shows at once in a photograph of a scene. Bend or press the surface beneath it slightly, as if the foot had sunk in. Set the part apart from the vehicle in color: a tool in use tends to be dustier and more scuffed than the surface above it, so add more dry pigment on the lower part and leave the edges dark metal. Suggest the traces of the operator's hand with a fine sheen on the lever, and keep the rest of the part matte.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, without a base, without paints and without glue, unless stated otherwise.
