This scenic set from the manufacturer Add on parts in 1:35 scale represents anti-tank obstacles of the Höckerhindernis type, known as dragon teeth. It is not a model of a vehicle but a diorama accessory - a row of concrete pyramidal obstacles that formed part of fortified defensive lines. The set is cast in a solid material and serves for creating a realistic scene of fortifications.
The Höckerhindernis were stepped concrete teeth in several rows whose task was to stop or slow down the advance of armored vehicles. They spread along fortified lines in the Second World War, and their remains can be seen in the landscape to this day. Typ 39 marks a particular shape and arrangement of the obstacle.
Wash any residues of mold release agent off the parts, clean up the casting surfaces and set them into the terrain of the diorama. You will imitate concrete with gray shades with a fine hint of ocher; washes in the joints, moss and dust pigments and a hint of erosion will add realism. The obstacles stand out well combined with a grassy or muddy base.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base board are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
