A set of figures in 1:35 scale on the theme of the closing battles for Berlin in 1945. Suitable for vehicle models and for an urban diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
The battles for Berlin in the spring of 1945 were the last great clash of the war in Europe and were fought in a densely built-up city. Streets with rubble, improvised barricades and vehicles wedged between buildings give a diorama an entirely different character from open country, because everything is close together and the scene plays out in a small area.
It is a set of figures in 1:35 scale, that is, in the most widespread size for military vehicles. The figures therefore match the usual kits of tanks and armored vehicles as well as diorama accessories in the same scale, and they can be used as the cast of a scene or as individual figures beside a finished model.
Try the arrangement out dry before you glue anything, because in an urban scene the direction of the gaze and the spacing between the figures are what count. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap before painting and let them dry. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts and check the exact procedure in the manufacturer's instructions.
Several sets in this range carry the same name with different contents, so check which particular set you are ordering. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
