An unpainted figure cast in resin in 1:35 scale from the Spanish manufacturer MIG Productions. It depicts a crewman of an armored vehicle in a contemporary overall, in a relaxed stance typical of a moment outside the vehicle. The figure is supplied as a set of castings to be assembled, usually divided into torso, head and limbs, so that the clean detail of the folds and the gear can be preserved.
Wash the castings first in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the remains of the mold release agent are removed; otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife and sand the areas; protect your breathing when sanding resin and work wet. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue, and fill and sand the seams at the shoulders and the waist. Apply a primer before painting. Build the uniform up from a base tone through thin glazes and finally accent the folds with a dry brush or with precise lightening. It pays to paint the face separately, before you fit the head into the collar.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin casting for more experienced modelers. Paints, glue and the base are not included in the package.
