The M-1130 CV is the command version of a modern American eight-wheeled armored vehicle of the Stryker family, fitted out for directing and coordinating combat units. Slat armor is a cage structure of bars mounted around the vehicle that is meant to set off or disrupt shaped-charge projectiles early, before they reach the main armor. This feature became widespread during service in urban surroundings.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and form the bends with a photo-etch bending tool. Use cyanoacrylate glue and work patiently, as assembling the cage structure takes time and calls for precision. Paint the cage separately and fit it at the very end of the build. Degrease the brass and apply primer before painting.
