An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M26A-1 Pershing medium tank in 1:35 scale from Dragon. The set is made up of parts in polystyrene and contains decals. The model is built by gluing plastic parts and is meant to be painted.
The Pershing was an American medium tank taken into service in the closing stages of the Second World War. The M26A-1 version brought changes to the powerplant and the gun barrel; the type came into its own markedly during the Korean War. Strong armor protection and an effective gun put the Pershing among the good tanks of its day.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the lower part of the hull before closing it. Use thin cement for plastic and dry-check the fit of the parts. Apply the base with an airbrush and a primer; mud and dust effects come from washes and pigments. Bringing out the scribed lines will underline the detail of the hull and the turret.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
