The Quickwheel 1:35 masking set for the wheels of the M3 Bradley fighting vehicle is cut for the Orochi kit. It masks out the rims of the road wheels so that only the rubber tire band stays exposed.

An accessory for painting, not a kit: the masks from Quickwheel stick onto the wheels you have in the box and save you masking the tire bands out by hand. According to its name the set is cut for the Orochi kit, which with wheel masks is an essential detail — every manufacturer makes its wheels a slightly different diameter and a mask from another set will not line up.
The M3 is the reconnaissance version of the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and shares its whole chassis with the M2. It runs on torsion bars, has six large wheels with a pronounced rubber tire band on each side and several return rollers above. Something else is fundamental, though: the running gear is largely hidden behind side plates. You therefore have to paint and finish the wheels before you close the side panels, because afterwards you can practically not reach the tire bands with an airbrush. That is exactly what makes a masking set on the Bradley a practical necessity rather than a luxury.
Clean the wheels, deal with the seams and spray the base shade. Lay the mask on only when the finish has set perfectly and press the whole circumference down, so paint cannot bleed into the rim. Spray square and in thin coats. For the running surface a dark gray suits better than pure black; dust and deposits from the terrain are then finished with a wash and pigments. Fit the side plates only once the masks are off.
This is a masking accessory. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
