A resin detail set in 1:35 scale from the firm PANZER ART representing road wheels with a heavily worn and in places burned rubber tire band (burn out) for the American M4 Sherman tank with HVSS suspension. It is not a model of the tank but a detail accessory that replaces the original wheels with realistic, worn-out ones.
HVSS (horizontal volute spring suspension) was the late type of Sherman suspension, with doubled road wheels and wide tracks. The rubber on the tire bands wore down, cracked and peeled away in service; the damage gives a model a faithful combat look.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up (with respiratory protection). They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray a primer on before painting; pick out the metal cores and the remains of the rubber in different colors and bring them out with pigments and a wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. A corresponding base kit of the M4 Sherman tank with HVSS is needed to use it.
