The addition in brackets designates the particular scenic form of this variant; the manufacturer also offers differently conceived versions under the same name, so when ordering, check that you are choosing the one you want. The subject is fictional. The machines of the Front46 range never existed, it is not a replica of historical or present-day equipment, and their designations, including the German abbreviations and type names, are part of the author design. The design conception nevertheless follows the logic of a light reconnaissance asset: the emphasis is on mobility and a field of view rather than on armor and firepower. For a modeler there is a practical consequence — the model is not tied to period photographs or to prescribed camouflage, so the choice of color scheme and markings is entirely up to you.
Before building, check what material the parts are made of and choose the glue accordingly: super glue on resin, ordinary modeling cement on injection-molded plastic. With resin parts, first wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand with respiratory protection. Assemble and paint the moving parts and the running gear group before you close the body up — once it is assembled you will no longer reach them. Build the painting on one main shade with light modulation, so that the large areas are not flat; then come washes in the recesses, rubbing on the edges and finally pigments for dust and mud from the bottom upward. With an invented machine it holds all the more that credibility is created by the weathering and a consistent logic of wear, not by the number of details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
