The MechatroWeGo line is an original science fiction subject, that is, a fictional small two-legged working robot, and the individual boxings in it are numbered. This one carries the number fifteen. It is not a model of real equipment. Check the contents of the box and the colors of the parts against the box.
The numbering is essential for this line: the individual releases share the same basic shape of the machine but differ in their color treatment, their small parts and their accessories. A collector can therefore build a whole group of robots that make sense side by side as one type in various configurations. The machine itself is conceived as a civilian working device, not as a combat vehicle: it has a glazed cabin for one person, short sturdy legs and simple controls. It is precisely the rounded, friendly shapes that make it a rewarding object for a display case or for the workbench.
Because the variants in the line differ mainly in color, it pays to spend time on this piece choosing the shades and applying them cleanly. Spray thin coats over a filling primer and allow enough flash-off between them, otherwise orange peel will appear on the rounded surfaces. We recommend filling and sanding the parting seams on the body shells; with a fictional object there is nothing to defend, a clean surface simply looks better. Bring out the panel lines with a thin wash that runs in by capillary action, and wipe the excess off along the line. Even out the surface at the end with a semi-matte coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
