Responsibility details are not available.
An injection molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The subject is not any real machine: MechatroWeGo is a fictional small two-legged working robot from an original science fiction line that the manufacturer releases in many numbered and color variants. This one carries the designation Ghost. The model is supplied unassembled; check the actual contents of the box against the box.
MechatroWeGo is conceived as a civilian machine for light work, not as a combat mech. Hence its appearance: a stocky body with a glazed cabin, short legs, simple manipulators and overall playful proportions that are closer to a construction machine than to military equipment. The line is built on a common basis, and the individual releases differ in their color treatment, their additional parts and the number in the name. That is exactly why they are collected piece by piece and form a coherent family side by side in a display case.
The large smooth areas of the body are the hardest discipline with this subject: every unevenness and every mold mark has to be sanded away, otherwise it will stand out under the paint. Use a filling primer before spraying, paint the parts on a stand in subassemblies and only then join them. Mask the cabin glazing before you fit the roof. The model takes restrained weathering very well, because it is a working machine: a worn edge done with a dry brush, a fine wash running into the panel lines and light dust on the legs give a fictional robot credibility. Do not overdo the rust, or you will turn a playful machine into a wreck.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
