1:35 M2A3 with reactive armor, basic version is an extensive Voyager Model photo-etched add-on set for the Tamiya 35264 plastic kit of the American infantry fighting vehicle you already own. Neither the model nor the kit is included.

This set from Voyager Model is cut for the Tamiya 35264 plastic kit. The scope of a photo-etched set matches how much of the vehicle it covers, and on a vehicle with add-on reactive armor there is a great deal to supplement, thanks to the large number of external panels, clamps and covers. The basic version designation means a narrower reach than the extended editions from the same manufacturer.
The M2A3 is a later version of the American Bradley tracked infantry fighting vehicle. It carries a 25 mm autocannon and anti-tank guided missiles, carries an infantry squad and in its upgraded form received improved electronics and observation equipment. The add-on reactive armor consists of external blocks fixed to the sides and the front, which change the silhouette of the vehicle considerably and add a quantity of small clamps and frames.
Photo-etched brass is smooth and paint will not hold on it without preparation. The procedure is always the same: degrease with alcohol, let it dry, spray a very thin primer for metal and only then paint. The amount is the key, because every heavy coat fills the engraving and you end up paying for detail you then cover over. Spray from a greater distance and rather in two passes than once heavily. On the large flat surfaces of the armor panels it helps to paint unevenly, with a slightly lighter shade in the middle of a surface, so that a large monotonous area does not look flat.
This is an add-on set for a plastic kit, not a standalone model. The kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
