Responsibility details are not available.
This sheet from ETA diorama is a printed paper accessory from which you cut out miniature newspapers for a scene in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit and these are not decals lifted off with water – you get printed paper ready for trimming by hand. Newspapers belong among the accessories that bring a scene to life faster than anything else: in a figure's hand, on a side table, dropped on the pavement or folded in a pocket.
Separate the motifs with a sharp scalpel along a rule, not with scissors – the edge has to be straight for a small format to look believable at this scale. If you want folded newspapers, fold them over a blunt tip or the edge of a scalpel, not with your fingers; the paper otherwise breaks irregularly and the fold thickens. For a newspaper in a figure's hand reach for tweezers with fine jaws and glue it with a drop of PVA glue applied with the tip of a toothpick.
Never glue a newspaper lying flat down over its whole area – fix it in one corner only and leave the rest standing slightly proud, to give the impression of light paper. Crumpled pieces are made by dampening a motif, crushing it and carefully opening it out again. A yellowed look is suggested by a light glaze of oil paint or a very fine deposit of pigment along the edges. Matte clear coat at the end unifies the sheen with the surrounding scene; apply it in a thin layer, so that the printing of the small areas does not bleed.
It is a printed paper accessory for a diorama. Glue, paints, clear coats and a baseboard are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
