A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale. The pre-cut masks help you separate the rubber tire bands of the carriage wheels cleanly from their hubs, so that the paint creates a crisp transition without laborious covering up. This is an accessory which is applied to the parts of the base kit, not a model in its own right; the kit has to be obtained separately.
The subject is the German heavy Krupp anti-tank gun of 12.8 cm caliber from the Second World War, one of the most capable anti-tank guns of its day. It was fitted on a wheeled gun carriage with which it was transported into the firing position, and thanks to its large caliber it could hit even heavily armored targets at a considerable distance.
Stick the masks onto cleaned and degreased wheel parts, press the edges down carefully and apply the paint in thin coats. Once dry, take the masks off carefully. For a faithful look, a matte period base and fine weathering work well.
These are painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, the glue, the paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
