An injection-molded plastic kit of the Chinese ZTZ-99A main battle tank in 1:35 scale from Panda Hobby. The set is made up of parts in polystyrene and contains clear parts, photo-etched metal parts and decals. The model is built by gluing plastic parts and is meant to be painted.
The ZTZ-99A is a modern Chinese main battle tank taken into service in the new millennium. It is based on the Type 99 family, but brings a newly designed hull and turret and further improvements in protection and equipment. It is among the current armor of the People's Liberation Army.
Assemble and paint the running gear before you close the hull. Use thin cement for plastic; work with the photo-etched parts using cyanoacrylate glue. Apply the base with an airbrush and a primer. The character of a modern tank is underlined by light washes in the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
