A set of precisely cast resin exhausts for a model of the twin-engine Junkers Ju 188 bomber in 1:48 scale. It is a detail accessory to replace the parts from the kit, not a model of the aircraft. The faithfully rendered stubs with open mouths markedly sharpen up the look of the engine nacelles.
The Ju 188 Racher was a German twin-engine bomber of the Second World War, growing in development out of the widespread Ju 88. It was marked by a glazed nose and potent inverted V12 or radial engines depending on the particular version; the exhaust systems are among the details that liven up a finished model.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them on with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Emphasize the mouths with a dark wash and shades of burning.
