PT-109 Crew in 1:35 scale is a set of plastic figures of the crew of an American torpedo boat from Italeri.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of injection-molded plastic figures from Italeri shows the crew of an American torpedo boat in 1:35 scale. The figures are posed at work and at their stations on deck and will complete a matching model of the boat or a naval diorama. The set is conceived to bring a deck to life with its crew.
The fast torpedo boats of the US Navy served in the Second World War in the Pacific for attacks, patrol duty and rescue operations. The crew consisted of several sailors manning the weapons, the helm and the engines. The figures are based on the period uniforms of this crew.
Clean the mold seam lines and dry-fit the parts, and glue the small pieces with slow-setting plastic cement. Spray the base coat with an airbrush and finish the uniforms and the skin with a brush. Pick the recesses out with a wash and bring the edges of the clothing out with a dry brush for a three-dimensional look.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
