The 1:35 Pz I wheel masking set from the Quickwheel company blocks out the disk of a road wheel and leaves only the rubber exposed. The cut-outs are cut for the wheels from the kit of the Tristar company.

It is not a kit, but a self-adhesive masking aid. The masks are applied to the center of the road wheels and during spraying they separate the rubber from the disk, so that the boundary between the colors arises around the perimeter of the cut-out, not under a brush. The set is prepared for the wheels from the kit of the Tristar company.
A light tank of this class has road wheels of a small diameter, and at exactly this size the bare eye stops being enough. The difference between a mask seated concentrically and a mask offset by a tenth of a millimeter you normally cannot tell on a finished wheel, but once sprayed you will see it at once, because the tire will be wider on one side than on the other. A desk magnifier with its own lighting or magnifying glasses turn this step from an estimate into a check. Under magnification it can also be seen whether the margin of the mask is somewhere standing on an edge and holding only at points, which is the most common cause of paint running under. It is useful to leave the magnifier on the table during the lifting of the mask as well, because beneath it you easily find small burrs of paint, which can be removed with the tip of a toothpick before they harden.
Hold the wheel in tweezers or on a skewer, so that you have both hands free. Lay the mask on dry, check the alignment under magnification and only then press it down around the perimeter. Apply the paint thinly and in several passes.
The package holds masking masks, not parts of a model. Paints, thinners and glue are not included in the delivery.
