An injection-molded plastic kit of the Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf. C/B (VK36.01) in 1:35 scale from Revosys: a 2-in-1 release with a full interior, a model of the early project from which the Tiger tank grew.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German experimental heavy tank VK36.01 in 1:35 scale from Revosys. The box is laid out as a 2-in-1 release and contains complete internal equipment for both the hull and the turret. Photo-etched parts and individual track links are included as well. Thanks to its rich interior the model is intended for more experienced builders. Check the exact package contents and the number of decal options against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The VK36.01 was a prototype heavy tank developed by Henschel at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s. It was one of the development steps from which the famous Tiger eventually grew. The vehicle remained at the prototype stage and never reached production, which makes it all the more sought after among collectors of German armor as a historical rarity. Its characteristic features were interleaved road wheels and stepped armor.
First assemble and paint the running gear and the interior of the hull and the turret: work the inner space out before you close the hull, because after that there is no access to it. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. After spraying the base coat and the clear coat, pick out the details with a wash and add patina with pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
