A set of replacement wheels in modeling resin for the RG-31 armored car of the MRAP category in the Mk.3 version. The castings replace the plastic wheels of the Kinetic kit and faithfully reproduce the massive off-road tread pattern as well as the realistically sagged lower part of the tire.
The weighted tire effect gives a heavy mine-protected vehicle a sense of weight and makes the finished model markedly more convincing. The set suits diorama scenes and a display case build alike. The clean castings call for a minimum of cleanup.
Before painting, separate the castings from the casting blocks, clean them up and paint them with ordinary modeling paints.
