This photo-etched brass set serves to detail a plastic model of the German RSO self-propelled anti-tank vehicle carrying the 75 mm PaK 40 gun in 1:35 scale. It adds fine elements that sharpen the appearance of the open hull, the gun mount and other areas of the vehicle.
The RSO (Raupenschlepper Ost) was a German tracked tractor developed for the heavy going of the Eastern Front. In the version with the 75 mm PaK 40 anti-tank gun it served as an improvised tank destroyer with an open fighting platform. It was used in the later phase of the Second World War.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife, shape the bends on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The open platform invites careful painting before it is assembled. A wash and pigments bring out the structure of the platform, the gun mount and the running gear nicely.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
