A set of photo-etched brass track covers for the Soviet T-10M heavy tank in 1:35 scale. It is a detail accessory from Voyager Model that replaces the simplified plastic fenders and the covers above the tracks with thin-walled photo-etched parts. It is not a kit of the tank.
The T-10M was the last and the most powerful Soviet heavy tank in series production, following on in design from the IS line. It carried a powerful large-caliber gun and heavy armor. The covers above the tracks protected the running gear and cut down the dust thrown up while driving.
Carefully separate the photo-etched covers from the fret, bend the thin sheet slightly for a realistic look and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Cut away the plastic originals on the model beforehand. Lay down a primer before painting and weather the surfaces with dust and mud effects.
The set does not hold the model itself, glue or paints. It is meant for finishing and bringing out the detail of a kit you have already built.
