A photo-etched detail set for the Sd.Kfz.181 Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf.E Tiger I heavy tank (s.PzAbt. 501, Tunisia) in 1:35 from Aber. Metal parts for superdetailing a plastic model, not a model of its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale. It is not a model but a set of fine metal parts with which you refine a plastic kit of the German Tiger I heavy tank in the form fielded in Tunisia. The set usually covers the key surfaces of the hull and the turret, the tool clamps and their details. The exact content is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The Pz.Kpfw.VI Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War armed with an 88 mm gun. The vehicles of the heavy tank battalion s.PzAbt. 501 were among the first examples fielded and saw action in North Africa, in Tunisia, at the turn of 1942 and 1943. These early deployments are of interest to modelers for their particular details and their desert camouflage.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, bend them over a ruler or on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal before painting and give it a coat of primer. Round off a desert camouflage with dust effects, and pick out the fine details with a wash and a drybrush.
This is a standalone photo-etched accessory for experienced modelers. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
