Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet IS-7 heavy tank in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted set of parts; the outlines of the turret, the hull and the running gear faithfully carry over the characteristic rounded shape of the real subject. For the exact number of parts and the package contents, go by the enclosed instructions.
The IS-7 (Object 260) was a Soviet heavy tank developed in the second half of the 1940s. It stood out for its heavily sloped armor, its low rounded turret and its gun of 130 mm caliber. Despite its impressive figures and high weight it stayed at the prototype stage and never reached series production. To this day it is among the most interesting chapters in the development of postwar heavy tanks.
We recommend assembling and fine-tuning the running gear before closing the hull. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, sand the joints down and treat the surface with a base color (primer). Lay the paint on ideally with an airbrush, and fine-tune the weathering with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects on the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
