A resin figure set of a civilian older man with a boy in 1:35 scale from MAiM: civilian characters from the setting of the Vietnam War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector resin figure set in 1:35 scale made by MAiM. It captures a civilian older man together with a boy as accompanying civilian characters for a scene with the crew of a river patrol boat from the Vietnam War period. The set is meant to be assembled, painted and used to bring dioramas to life. The exact number of figures and parts is not stated here.
The Vietnam War was fought in Southeast Asia, and its scenes also took in the local civilian population along the waterways where patrol boats operated. Civilian figures round military scenes out with a believable civilian setting and give a sense of the scale of the characters. The set is treated factually, without ideology.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); wear respiratory protection while sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting and build the uniform and the gear up in thin layers. The face and the fabric come out well after shading, a wash in the folds and a light dry brush.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
