A set of five miniature wall pictures with black and white shots of German Tiger tanks from the period of the Second World War, complete with frames. MAiM lists it in a universal scale based on 1:35; a picture on a wall has no fixed size, so you can use the set in interiors in 1:32 or 1:48 as well.
The black and white treatment evokes period photographs, so the set works best where history is studied and displayed: in a museum display, the study of a military historian, the clubroom of modelers or researchers, or as a themed background for a display case holding a model of an armored vehicle. The factual, documentary character of the motifs gives an interior credibility, because the viewer understands at once what the room is concerned with.
For a museum scene choose uniform frames and strict spacing with room for captions, while a private study will carry a looser arrangement above a bookcase and a desk. Protect the motifs with satin clear as an imitation of glazing; the gray scale of the shots is nicely filled out by an interior in restrained colors, dark wood, a green lamp, beige walls. Glue the pictures on with gel super glue only once the wall is finished.
The set is meant for fitting into the interior of a diorama; with the frames, count on cleaning up and painting if necessary. The manufacturer does not state the exact dimensions.
