An injection-molded plastic kit of a universal tracked transport cart in 1:35 scale from Mirage Hobby. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted set made up of several plastic sprues complemented by rubber tracks, with instructions and a painting scheme. It is a towed transport aid for carrying cargo, ammunition and materiel.
The universal tracked transport cart was a simple towed aid which, thanks to its tracked running gear, managed the terrain even where a wheeled trailer would have become stuck. Carts of this type were used together with light tracked tractors to bring ammunition and supplies to the units in the field. Their plain but purposeful design proved itself in demanding conditions.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Fit the rubber tracks once the running gear is finished and painted. Lay a primer and the covering shade on with an airbrush, and create the weathering and mud effects with washes and pigments that will emphasize the tracked running gear as well as the load bed. The cart is a rewarding accessory for dioramas.
