This is an add-on detail set from RYE FIELD MODEL, not a tank model. It contains photo-etched metal parts intended to replace and complement selected plastic parts, which increases the fineness and the fidelity of the finished model.
The set serves to refine the exterior details of the tank, such as thin plates, grilles, brackets and other elements that look more realistic in photo-etched form than thicker plastic parts. It is intended for models of the American M4A3 (76)W HVSS Sherman medium tank in 1:35 scale.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and form the bends with tweezers or a photo-etch bending tool. Use cyanoacrylate glue to bond metal to plastic. After assembly apply a primer, so that the paint holds well on the metal; handle the weathering and the dust effects with washes and pigments at the end.
